Funding Partners

ANKA’s operational and core program funding is provided by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, the Department of Communication and the Arts and the Northern Territory Government through Arts NT. Project funding is provided by a range of Government, philanthropic and corporate partners. ANKA is very grateful for this support. ANKA is also a member of the Indigenous Art Commercial Code of Conduct. 

National Indigenous Art Peak Bodies

The two longest standing and largest Indigenous art peak bodies nationally today, ANKA and Desart, share origins in the same organisation Arnhem, Northern and Central Artists Aboriginal Association (ANCAAA), started in 1987. Today both are part of a national group of Indigenous art peak bodies.
